NEXUS Hits Major Milestone: 130,000+ HOD Units Shipped, Reinforcing Leadership in ADAS Safety

NEXUS Technology Co., Ltd., a pioneering manufacturer of automotive electronic control units (ECUs), today announced a significant production milestone: over 130,000 units of its flagship Hands-Off Detection (HOD) system have been shipped to global automotive OEMs. This achievement solidifies NEXUS’s position as a top 3 HOD supplier in China and a top 10 player globally.

As the first company in China to mass-produce a time-division multiplexing HOD solution, NEXUS continues to lead in driver-monitoring technology. The latest 5th-generation platform features multi-zone detection (configurable up to 4 zones) and single-finger recognition sensitivity, meeting the stringent requirements of Level 2/3 ADAS and autonomous driving systems.

“Reaching 130,000 shipments is a testament to the trust our partners place in our technology and quality,” said [Name], Head of Automotive Electronics at NEXUS. “Our HOD system, developed in compliance with ISO 26262 ASIL B, provides the precision and reliability required for critical safety functions like lane-keeping and adaptive cruise control.”

The HOD’s success is driven by its self-developed capacitive sensing algorithm and dual-channel anti-error design, which ensures zero false detection. With a 0 PPM defect rate since launch, NEXUS’s HOD is a preferred choice for OEMs like NIO, FAW, Changan, and GAC.
